The 2000FT 10/4 VNTC TRAY CABLE TC-ER is a shielded PVC jacket copper wire that is ideal for power, control, signal, communication, and lighting circuits. This cable can be installed in cable trays, raceways, open air with messenger wire support, and even in wet and dry locations or areas exposed to chemicals and oils. It's approved for direct burial applications and in hazardous locations. The conductors are made of soft bare annealed copper with Class B stranding. The insulation is heat and moisture-resistant Polyvinylchloride (PVC) and features a clear Polyamide (Nylon) jacket. The color code follows the ICEA Method 1, and a shield with 100% coverage spiral wound Aluminum-Mylar tape is present. The jacket is sunlight resistant and rated at 90°C per UL 1277. The cable passes the IEEE 383 70,000 BTU vertical tray flame test. The cable has an AWG 10 size, with four conductors, seven strands, and an 18 AWG drain wire size. The insulation thickness is 0.020", nylon thickness is 0.004", and jacket thickness is 0.045". The approximate weight is 230 pounds per 1000 feet.
