Tri Tool's Model 304 Portable Tube Squaring-Facing Tool is a must-have for shops in various industries needing precise and burr-free preps. This tool supports tubes using full support OD clamping saddles or collets that cause minimal distortion. It also features a precise and easy feed system, as well as a dual-range, variable-speed electric drive. The cutting head accepts squaring bits alone or in combination with beveling and ID deburring bits for complex preps. The Model 304's broad size range allows it to fit tubes and fittings ranging from 0.25” to 4.5” (6.4 to 114.3mm), with a wall thickness of up to 0.250” (6.4mm). It is also Clean-room safe and can face stainless steel, inconel, and plastic tubing without causing damage to electropolished ID's. Power can be supplied from a pneumatic or electric drive for cleanroom applications. When it comes to larger tube squaring, shops in various industries rely on the Model 304's ruggedness and precision. It can perform preparation on mild, chrome, stainless, copper-nickel alloy, and aluminum. Special procedures are also available for inconel and other high temp alloys.
