ADELS Barrier Strip 500-31 DS is a high-quality barrier strip designed for electrical connections. It has a voltage rating of 300V and a current rating ranging from 25A to 30A, depending on the wire size. This particular sale includes a box of 50 barrier strips. The ADELS Barrier Strip is manufactured in Germany and meets all necessary approvals and standards. Its nominal cross-section is 2.5mm, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The barrier strip can accommodate wire sizes ranging from 22-10 AWG to 24-12 AWG. The connection is made using screws and can accommodate conductor sizes ranging from 0.5mm to 2.5mm. The barrier strip can be fixed using screws or rivets, with a recommended size of 3.1mm. The moldings are made of polyamide 6, which provides excellent durability. They have a natural color and a flammability rating of V-2 according to UL 94. The barrier strip can operate continuously at a working temperature of 100°C and can withstand short-time temperatures of up to 160°C. The contacts of the ADELS Barrier Strip are made of brass and are plated for added protection. The screws used for connection are M3 size and can be tightened to a maximum torque of 0.5 Nm. They are made of steel, zinc plated, and chromed for corrosion resistance. The wire protectors are made of stainless spring steel, ensuring secure connections. In terms of current rating, the ADELS Barrier Strip meets the standards set by EN 60598 and EN 60998. It has a current rating of 16A at a temperature of 85°C according to EN 60598 and 24A at a temperature of 85°C according to EN 60998. When using the ADELS Barrier Strip, it is recommended to strip the wires to a length of 7-7.5 mm for optimal connection.
