The XC2-XL is a circuit board designed for CPLD-based designs. It features two XilinxВ® CPLDs, the CoolRunner-II XC2C256, and the XC9572XL. This platform is perfect for gaining exposure to Xilinx CPLDs and the latest CAD tools. It provides power supplies, a clock source, and basic I/O devices, allowing for immediate implementation of circuits without any additional components needed. The XC2-XL is compatible with all versions of Xilinx CAD tools and ships with a power supply and programming cable. This prototype board contains a Xilinx CoolRunner-II XC2C256 CPLD in a TQ144 package and a Xilinx XC9572XL CPLD in a VQ44 package. Both CPLDs can be independently enabled or disabled, and all I/O signals from both CPLDs are fully routed to expansion connectors. The board also includes JTAG ports to both CPLDs, flexible power delivery with various options, and a socketed oscillator. Basic I/O is available via a button and two LEDs. With non-volatility, designs saved on this board will remain even after power is removed. Supporting materials include the datasheet and schematics, and all other materials can be found in the resource center. This used board is in very good condition and ships via priority mail.
