The FEP Encapsulated Silicone Cam and Groove Gasket in red, available in 1-1/2", is a top-quality seal for Camlock fittings. This gasket provides superior sealing performance by combining the best properties of silicone and FEP, ensuring resilience and chemical resistance in even the toughest corrosive environments. FEP is engineered to be easily formed, has similar characteristics to PTFE, and can be utilized with practically all chemicals. Storing FEP Encapsulated Silicone Gaskets is easy and can be done by keeping them in their original packaging in a dry, clean warehouse, away from direct sunlight and electric motors. Maintaining a temperature between 65°F and 85°F is recommended. This gasket meets numerous standards, including FDA CFR 21, 177.1550, U.S. Pharmacopeia Class VI Certification, USDA Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Points, Cytotoxicity Criteria, USDA and 3-A Sanitary Standards, ASME-BPE Standards for Type I and Type II, ADI Free®, and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). The FEP Encapsulated Silicone Camlock Gasket has a temperature range of 100°F to 225°F and features excellent heat resistance, low absorption rate, good stability, and almost no extractables.
