The tap has an overall length of 2-1/8". It can be used for cutting new threads or cleaning up old threads in mild steel, alloy steel, light gage stainless, soft metals, and plastic. For cutting new threads, we recommend using a Letter "S" drill bit. Please note that all sales are final and no refunds or exchanges will be made.
