With its Quick Clamping And Clamping Joint mechanism, the Drywall Banjo from PFT Wales can reduce taping times by up to 200% compared to traditional paper tape application. This user-friendly tool can be filled with a drywall pump or even a scraper or scoop, making it incredibly versatile. The corner attachment allows for the direct application of paper tape into internal corners with the correct amount of mud applied to the rear of the tape. Additionally, the mud thickness can be set by a simple dial and straight joints can be taped and set with the easiest of actions. The Drywall Banjo is supplied with a standard flat taping head and an easy change corner taper attachment, making it ideal for use with both paper tape and FibaFuse paperless joint tape. It is even compatible with setting compounds for short periods of time if cleaned thoroughly after use. Manufactured from durable Polycarbonate ABS, the Drywall Banjo features a double-ended applicator attachment and two adjustable soft-grip handles on either side for ease of use. The tool also boasts a compound flow adjustment dial that is always accessible, and a fast access loading and cleaning design with a single clip. This highly-capable tool can hold rolls of joint tape up to 150m / 500 feet. When using the Drywall Banjo for taping flat joints, simply release the double-ended applicator, turn around and clip it back in place. Hold the end of the tape and press the applicator against the joint, pulling it along until complete. Cut the tape with a blade taping knife, press the blade against the tape, and twist the tool to cut the tape. Run over the tape with your blade to smooth the join and remove any excess compound. For taping internal corner joints, release the double-ended applicator, turn it around and clip it back in place. Hold the end of the tape and press the internal applicator into the internal corner, pulling it along until complete. Cut the tape by pressing the square point of your blade into the corner, and twist the tool away from the blade.
