The steel-made M-MTM100PP1 Linear Stage is designed to offer high stiffness and thermal stability in a compact package. This particular Micro-step version comes with 100 mm of travel with a resolution of 1.0 Вµm. The stage can endure up to 100 kg with a high axial load capacity up to 200 N. Opposing single-row bearing surfaces are precisely-ground from tool steel to provide linear and durable motion. The lead screw is diamond-corrected and paired with a lapped nut to ensure smooth motion. The anti-backlash preloading and decoupling system in the nut design prevent lead screw eccentricity errors from affecting the stage's movement. The stage has a center home position switch, supplemented by an index pulse signal from the encoder for an accurate origin location. The home position can be set to either end of the stageвЂ™s travel via an external switch on the stage body, adding to the convenience of the user. One of the key features of the MTM100PP1 is that it has a load capacity of 1000 N and a travel range of 100 mm. The linear incremental motion is at a minimum of 1 Вµm, while the on-axis accuracy is at 5 or В± 2.5 Вµm. The bi-directional repeatability is at 3 or В± 1.5 Вµm, and the uni-directional repeatability is guaranteed at 1.5 Вµm. The maximum speed is 20 mm/s, while the pitch is at 40 or В± 20 Вµrad.
