The RFS CellFlex SCF12-50J is an 11-foot coaxial cable used for OEM jumpers, main feed transitions to equipment, GPS lines, and other radio equipment interconnects. This superflexible cable has a low attenuation, creating an efficient signal transfer in RF systems. Its solid outer conductor also provides complete shielding to minimize system interference. Additionally, special low VSWR versions of the CELLFLEX coaxial cables contribute to low system noise, while its outstanding intermodulation performance is confirmed with state-of-the-art equipment at the RFS factory. Due to its low attenuation, outstanding heat transfer properties and temperature stabilized dielectric materials, CELLFLEX can provide safe long term operating life at high transmit power levels. Its wide range of application areas includes typical feedlines for broadcast and terrestrial microwave antennas, wireless cellular, PCS and ESMR base stations, and cabling of antenna arrays. The CELLFLEX 1/2 inch superflexible foam-dielectric coaxial cable has various technical specifications, including low VSWR, outstanding intermodulation performance, a solid inner and outer conductor for virtually eliminating intermods, and a high power rating. Its structure includes a copper-clad aluminum wire for its inner conductor, foam polyethylene for its dielectric, corrugated copper for its outer conductor, and a polyethylene jacket. CELLFLEX has a characteristic impedance of 50+/- 1, relative propagation velocity of 77, capacitance of 86 pF/m, and inductance of 0.215 µH/m. Its minimum bending radius is 32 mm for single bending and its maximum tensile force is 650 N. CELLFLEX can withstand storage temperatures between -70 to 85 °C, installation temperatures of -40 to 60 °C, and operation temperatures of -50 to 85 °C. The CELLFLEX 1/2 inch superflexible foam dielectric coaxial cable attenuation table shows attenuation power for various frequencies ranging from 0.5 MHz to 10000 MHz.
