The Boyar-Schultz H-612 Surface Grinder with Power Elevation, Walker LBP EMC, and SMA is a 6" width by 12" length grinding tool. This "Challenger" series model was originally created in 1982 and has features such as a working surface of 6" x 18", cross travel of 6- 13/16", and maximum diameter grinding wheel of 7". It has a minimum/maximum width of 3/16"/ 5/8" and a hole size of 1-1/4". The handwheel graduations have vernier downfeed to .0001" and cross to 0.001". This piece of equipment weighs approximately 1,125 lbs. In addition to the above features, the Boyar-Schultz H-612 Surface Grinder also has a power rapid positioning of grinding wheelhead up and down, an O.S. Walker "LBP" fine-division electromagnetic chuck, an O.S. Walker "Smart" series neutrfier control with variable power hold and auto demagnitizing, and an automatic lubrication system. It is equipped with a 1 H.P. 3/60/230-460 volt 3,450 RPM direct motorized and hardened steel ways. The machine comes with a work light and is presently wired for 3/60/220 volts.
