Used Trimble Beacon on a Belt - "BoB" P/N 38508-00 This Trimble Beacon on a Belt, or BoB, receiver allows you to incorporate the precision of real-time differential GPS into your GIS projects without the burden of a bulky radio pack. The system includes a beacon receiver, antenna, and battery in a compact cable-free package that you can wear on your belt. The BoB receiver decodes GPS differential correction information from local MSK beacons and transmits it to any GPS receiver that accepts standard RTCM SC-104 data, eliminating the need for data postprocessing. The Beacon on a Belt can be used wirelessly with a GeoExplorer 3 or cabled with any GeoExplorer from the 03-08 series (serial clip and cable required). Alternatively, you can equip the Beacon on a Belt with a Promi Bluetooth adapter for wireless communication with a GeoExplorer with built-in Bluetooth. Refer to this support note for instructions on using the Initium Promi-SD 101.
